About Ace Badminton Supply
A shop that does one thing.
Ace Badminton Supply exists to make the simplest decision in badminton — which shuttle to buy — actually simple. Five tiers, hand-graded, one price per tier, free shipping over $50.
We're a small team in Seattle. Most of us play. We started because every other badminton site treats shuttles as a footnote next to rackets, when shuttles are the only thing every player and club rebuys monthly.
Three things, in this order.
Consistent flight
Every tube graded for shuttle-to-shuttle uniformity. A Diamond at the top of the tube flies the same as the one at the bottom. The whole point of buying premium is repeatability.
Honest pricing
One price per tier, across every speed within the tier. No surprise upcharges on the 78 because it's most-wanted. No padding the case price. Volume discounts public.
Climate-matched guidance
The wrong speed number ruins a good shuttle. We publish the chart, we recommend based on your zip code, and we'll mail a free sample tube to verified clubs before they commit a case.
The supply chain, made boring on purpose.
Feathers from established hatcheries — same suppliers used by the major tournament-grade brands. Cork bases from a single manufacturer, hemispherical and consistent. Hand-graded at the tube stage: any shuttle that fails our drop test gets pulled, the tube short-counted, the rest re-tested.
We don't manufacture, we curate and grade. The supply chain isn't a secret — it's the same factories everyone uses. What's different is what we accept into a tube with our name on it.
What we test before a tube ships
Feather count + symmetry
16 feathers from one wing, no mixing. Visual symmetry check; any off-axis shuttle gets pulled.
Weight tolerance
4.74–5.50g per BWF spec, ±0.05g tube uniformity. Outliers don't pass.
Drop test
Underhand clear from baseline. Landing zone must hit the 530–990mm corridor.
Cork integrity
Hemispherical inspection — no compressed, deformed, or split bases.
Players, coaches, club captains — we'd love to hear from you.
